Reviews and Ratings
I was really looking forward to my stay at this hotel, but it turned out to be quite disappointing. The location is fantastic, being a short walk from downtown and key attractions, which I appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable, but the service was a major letdown—there was a lack of responsiveness from the staff when I had issues. Overall, it's a decent place in a great spot, but the service left much to be desired.
I had a great stay at the Garden South Park Inn, especially during a family emergency. The location right across from the hospital was perfect for us, and the compassionate rate helped ease our financial burden. While the room was a bit tight for three, it was clean and the newer air conditioning was a real plus. The breakfast offered a decent variety despite not being gourmet. Overall, it was a good experience, though the parking was an extra charge, which was a slight downside.
My stay at this hotel had its ups and downs. The building has charm and the location is convenient, just a short walk from town and the gardens. However, the service was lackluster, and I encountered a few uncomfortable issues, particularly with the cleanliness of my room and the overall staff attitude. It felt like they didn't really care about my experience or needs.
I had a lovely stay at Garden South Park Inn, where the atmosphere felt cozy, like visiting an older relative. The location was quite convenient for exploring downtown Halifax, and I enjoyed the overall cleanliness of the place. However, the breakfast options were a bit below my expectations, and the neighborhood seemed a little rough around the edges at first glance. Overall, it's a solid option for a comfortable stay.
I had a somewhat disappointing experience at the B&B with parking issues and noisy surroundings, which overshadowed its potential charm. However, my stay at the Garden South Park Inn was much more enjoyable due to its great location, clean accommodations, and a lovely breakfast spread. Both places had their highs and lows, but I found better value and a more pleasant atmosphere at the second location.
